Sometimes when I look at the history of Israel and the mess that was started when the nation was created, I think that the US should have offered parts of Alaska too. But that would never have solved anything either.

Is this guy really *that* stupid? He is just inviting the Dubya types to come take him down a peg or two. I admit that setting up Israel where and when they did might not have been the smartest move ever, so I can kind of see where he is coming from on that score, but this statement is like waving a red cape in front of a bull.

The relative merits of the argument that Isreal should have been placed elsewhere is completely lost in sheer den of echoing stupidity that is the revisionist history of the holocaust.

Too true. You have actually met people who lost their parents in the Holocaust. I introduced you to them at your grandparents 50th anniversary party.
