(no subject)

So. as some of you know by now, earthlink has eliminated 1300 hundred people and 4 call centers. They are out sourcing all dial up. I am looking at the fact I may no longer have a future here and it scares me. My future seems more shakey than it did.

Maybe I can become a war corespondent.

...don't sweat it all that much. You'll still have a job for a good while since those in the call centers that remain are very much needed.

I'd still try to get out of your department for sanity's sake, though.

You're on Saves. Despite what that guy said, they have not outsourced any saves teams. You are currently in one of the most secure jobs on the floor, in the most secure call center of the company. So you don't need to quite press your panic button.

Yes and i would have to worry less about good health care insurance. That is sort of an all or nothing enviroment really.
