I tried to call the room about an hour ago and got no answer. They were supposed to take her down for a scope this morning, so hopefully that's a good thing. Aunt Laura left a message on my answerphone saying that she was in good spirits. I'm still ready to leave on a moment's notice. timill won't be coming with me unless there is some sort of *really* compelling reason, owing to things that have to be attended to here.
They have scoped her from top to bottom, the bleeding has stopped and they didn't find anything horrible, just a couple of polyps and a couple of ruptured diverticuli. They are keeping her in, at least overnight, just to be sure. Thanks to all of technoir's friends who have sent their prayers and good wishes.
