I have some vacation time coming to me. I have to use the accrued time by the end of June as I understand it. I am debating what to do with it. Part of me is looking to go see distant friends. Part of me is looking at taking the time to get some writing done a sort of a retreat. I have been writing more with the podcasting stuff and larp write ups. I am happy about all of that but I would like to get away for a bit and concentrate more on the writing for a while. On the other side of it I have a number of friends I have not gotten to just hang out with in a long time. Maybe I might combine the two. I could maybe go somewhere and while my friends were at work I could do some writing and hang out with them when they are not at work. I don’t know. It is something I have been thinking about today.

I would spend the whole trip driging there and back. Perhaps not a bad vacition in some ways but really expensive. Also I have misplaced the passport during one of the moves so I would have to get another one.

Passports are vital. You should be more careful with them. What if something dreadful happened and you had to come over here in a hurry? Get a new one NOW!

Wouldn't mind having you get a chance to see the baby bird...
