Robert Jordan is dead apparently. It was reported on the blog he maintained today. The blog has since been slammed so hard it is apparently down, but as I said several sites are reporting Robert Jordan is dead as of about 3 pm today.

This makes me sad.  The man wrote a good book. No I am not saying they did not have problems but they were good enough for me to keep coming back.

His first three books were great. Then things started to slowly drag out more and more.

Sad that he passed away.

I guess this means we'll never get the mythical final book in the Wheel of Time series. Drat.

For all the complaints and issues with his stories they were deffinatly enteraining. It's a very real loss to the Sci-Fi/Fantasy world.

I'm sorry, honey. That must be painful. I've never read any of his books but I know I would be crushed if it happened to one of my favorite authors.

*hugs*

Well, *pinch* read the Wow stories for now and I will be a good girl and start writing the ghost story again just for you. In hopes that it makes you feel better.

And by the way, I still listen to your reading of it every now and again. It gives me goosebumps how wonderful your voice is.

i will add the wow stories to my friends list and try and catch up with them this week.

I am glad you liked the reading. Maybe this weekend i might read one of the other bits as well.

I plan on next year when my detective story is done to actually podcast my novel. We will see how that survives contact with the enemy.

Ah ha, the pinching worked! Yah for me! Get to reading! *cracks whip* And guess which ones are mine...no, wait - that's too easy. *pouts*

And yes, adored the reading - want me to shower you with outpourings of affection?

I hope to have another part of the ghost story up later tonight. I'd rather forgotten about it as I'd hit a wall creatively and so thanks for the "jump start." Vrroooom!

/e squeals in anticipation for a detective story. I love love love love detective stories! I can't wait to hear it.

/e swoons over your icon once more.
