So...the turn of this season appears to be they have put the Role Playing Game group of pc's on the island.

You got your psychic who can talk to ghosts.
You have your crackerjack pilot.
Your archeologist's with a specialty for the strange.
a physicist who is a little cracked

The muscle is already dead it seems.

If Chuthulu appears and devours everyone I am calling it a day. Still my interest in seeing what the pc's do at this point is high.

To small not enough tentacles.

Could be a manifestation of Yog-Sothoth though.

possibly another manifestation of Nyarlathotep or Hastur.

Last night's episode was written by the screenwriter of Cloverfield and the comic Y the Last Man.

Personally I had a that conversation with my friend James last night about Sayid and Locke being PCs types too.

Sayid (maxed out tech character level 10 in engineering, level 10 in communication and level 10 in hand to hand combat)

Locke (power game character) hunting level 10, tracking level 10, healing factor level 20, strategy level 8, throwing knives level 9, not to mention new abilities that appear to be island based.

That explains the nausea-inducing POV shots from people parachuting down and getting stuck in trees, etc.

And dude, the guy in the tie? Does he scream gamer or what? He reminds me of the Lone Gunman in the suit.

I thought the tie was odd too. But he played by Jeremy Davies who has a history of playing strange characters. Anyone seen Solaris (George Clooney version)?
