I am trying to stay upbeat but depression is still kicking my ass. I can't seem to shake it and I don't know why.

Depression is like that. It'll hang around, and then one day it will lift suddenly and surprise you. The best thing you can do is stay busy.

In the meantime, you are totally kicking ass at work.
