To demonstrate my mom gets the whole larper thing I offer up my Christmas present from her and her gentleman husband Tim. They got me a sewing machine and case. It is one of the Singer simple ones. It is more than adequate for someone whose costuming skills can be charitably be called beginner. I have wanted one for a year or two to do some simple repairs and some basic costuming. There are masters of costuming and I don't expect to be one of them, but I would like to do some basic work from time to time. I have always felt my costuming could be better. I can neither afford to pay a lot for more professional pieces nor do I feel right about asking my friends to make costuming for me. This will help with a lot of that hopefully.

Of course now I need a table to put it on, but one bridge at a time. It makes me happy.

If you come help me move I think I may have a table you can have.

Next time I am going to be in town there should be no holiday obligations so maybe then. Thanks for getting me started on the sewing kick.
