For those who want to know. I got back from the doctor. I had a couple of different things going on. I had a virus that hit me sunday night and is still lingering. It nocked down my immune system enough for the bacterial infection to start up in my leg. It came from a cut that is over a decade old. I have meds and need a couple of days fluids and rest. I still feel miserable, but at least I have some hope of not feeling miserable till the end of my days. 102 temps are not good. Who knew?

A decade?!? When you told me you had a cut that wouldn't heal, I thought you meant that you'd had it for a few weeks. No wonder you thought I was crazy when I suggested neosporin. Oh, well. Just slather the stuff on the next one to prevent such issues.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that even though the thermometer claims to be a "rectal thermometer" is has only been used orally (and surface sterilized with isopropenol after every use) so don't be afriad that is has the coodies or anything like that.

Hope you get feeling better! Give me a call if you need more errands run.
