So I went to the doctor. My leg is still suffering from the infection. The doctor said something about deep vein thrombosis. I am my last day of antibiotics. The doctor told me to go to hospital so I am having guy drive me.It is okay to admit i am a little worried now.

*runs off, does research* Well, if it is DVT, the good thing is that it's identifiable through very available methods and treatable fairly easily. Scary, yes ... but good to know it's a possibility early on.

Erm...I think you'll be ok. They are going to pump you full of about six kinds of antibiotic and antiviral medication followed by several scans. Drink lots of water. Call if ya need anything... wayferny and I will be around this Christmas.

If it is deep vein thrombosis, welcome to the wonderful world of blood thinners! I'll be more than happy to offer any advice/reassurance you need.

If you get a chance, call tonight an let us know what the diagnosis is and what they are doing.
