For the past two days i have been waking up with a feeling of dread. Like a horrible thing has happened and I have just been told of it. I dont know that the terrible thing is but I get that cold feeling in my gut like I get when I get really bad news. To make matters worse i hae thoughts going through my head that are not pleasent. You know those unpleasent suspicions and truths you know but you dont say cause well you dont want to hurt the people you care about. Those keep rolling through my head today. I may be going crazy.

somebody please cheer me up.

We all have days like that. Sometimes something bad /has/ happened; sometimes not. But in the end, it'll be okay. Honest.

If you were a girl, I'd recommend a good romance novel and a cup of hot chocolate. I'm not sure what the default boy setting would be.

Guy version: A shot (or several) of something strong and a good first person shooter. Or rampant slaughter of the Chinese in Dynasty Warriors.

No. Not quite the same feel. Not that a shot and a good first person shooter wouldn't be fun; it's just not quite right.

OK later today at work I will sing the Peter (Family Guy) Cheer up song.

Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time! Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time! Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time! Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time!Where you at! Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time! Where you at!Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time! Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time!

Because if the song fails to cheer you up, killing him for singing it surely will. :)

Killing people, despite my reputation, does not amuse me.

at least not much.

Please try not to worry. It's like those dreams that seem so real - you just have to remember that it was only a dream.
Want me to pinch you?

Remember - It's always much, much worse than your darkest fears. Whatever is curdling in your gut, waiting to pounce is real, very real, and much worse than you can ever imagine.

Re: d00m

ignore the cynical bastard. It's what I do when he starts in on me with that crap.

I hope you feel better soon. I am all to familiar with those unsettling feelings.

If I have time to do so, I try to pick up a favorite book or movie (or a tune) that puts my mind in a different, better place. But I am very programmable. Maybe it will help.

Do you know how I will always see you?

"COWAHDS! IT'S A FUCKIN' ZOMBIE! ARE YOU PART OF MY FUCKIN' FAMILY?"

No, really, it always cheers ME up.

SMOOCH!

Or go look for at the movie of the cat on the fan. That always cheers Ed up. He laughs for hours.

Mal's voice after something flies off Serenity's hull: "What was that?"

I dunno, it worked for me.

i second the suggestion of the cat on the fan actually. as caity can attest, that cat is all that kept me from going insane my last year of college. without fail it always brought me cheer and maniacle laughter.

I am totally not funny, but I'm sorry you feel this way and hope you feel better soon.

I've been dreadfully depressed all day myself.
But, I hope you feel better soon.
