First, thanks to everyone who sent well wishes. I appreciate it. I thought I would put an update. Grandma is still being checked out to make sure there is no heart bruising so they have put off her surgery till tommorrow. There is talk of putting her and grandpa in a nursing home. Having worked in one I have to say that is a supremely bad idea. They are both active vital people who can take care of themselves. They dont need a nursing home. Aparently the person who hit mom in the intersection was a pregnant lady. I dont know her condition or currently who is being found to be at fault. It looks like mom may be coming down in the next few days but that is not set in stone. This obviously may change my plans for the weekend. hope everyone is having a better day.

Slight correction there. Nobody has said anything to me about putting your grandfather in a nursing home. It also turns out that they are only talking about a rehab facility for Mom. It just happens to be associated with a nursing home. Someone was supposed to email me last night to tell me how Mom was doing, but I haven't seen that email yet.

Talk to me at work later about nursing homes. I had to put my grandparents into an Assisted Living home and that actually has been great for my grandmother.
