So next week I am going to Gencon. This will be a first for me so i am looking forward to it. I am going be there as press. interestingly enough I will be hard pressed to get online during the con. The hotel may charge extra to get online with their internet and the convention provided wifi is not an option for my laptop sadly. I have a wifi card for it but it just will not connect. So the majority of my calorie tracking is based on my daily entering of it in a website. Now i can track everything in a notebook and try and retro actively enter over a weeks worth of food details later. This seems troublesome. I may do it but it is not something I will say up front i will do.

So what am I going to do? It is always tempting to say I will skip the diet during something like a con. it is just simpler. I am not going to do that so much though. I am taking along some slimfast for the breakfast. Some low calorie snacks that I can put in portable packs like carrots. I accept I will eat out some while there but I am going to aim for one full size meal a day and the rest being low calorie snacks, slim fast, and the like. Sort of like my normal weekdays actually. I may get some more in there but I want to not go crazy. Also a good portion of money spent at cons goes to the insane food prices anyway. It would be good to ave on that.

As to other diet related stuff, I am back on the gym full cycle now. I am aiming for at least 30 minutes a day 4 days a week right now. I am 2 days down already for this week so feeling good. Sunday was a walk on the treadmill and today was a faster one. I also plan on some push ups and attempts at crunches when i get home. I have lowered the daily calories a lot. Now to burn more and the weight loss tango begins anew.
