NaNoWriMo is coming quicker and quicker it seems. I am working on the outline for my attempt this year. I am basing mine on the Dawning Star back story and it is the tale of the exodus from earth. It should be fun. I still have to do some character studies after i do the outline. NaNoWriMo is the national novel writing month in november. Every year the goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in the time frame between november 1st and november 31st at midnight. For some this is easier than others. With my work schedule and other things takign up my time it is not an easy task for me but I shoot for it anyway. last year I got about 10,000 words. I want to actually complete it this year. Is anyone else interested in trying this year? It is a fun thing to try and share. The website has handy places to keep track of you rok everyday on word count and forums with people doing it around the country.

I am still trying to come up with this years title for my work. Maybe Rise and Fall of the Dawning Star.

oh well back to the grindstone.

I'm going to try it this year, but I fully expect not to get more than halfway done. But hey, halfway is a good thing.

I've had an idea of a fantasy-ish horror novel for a couple of years. I'm going to try that.

Thanks for the reminder again! I keep forgetting about this! I still hope to do it, but still uncertain about whether or not there will be time. But I'll go put it on my calendar right now.

I'm planning to use NaNoWriMo as the kick in the ass I nead to start writing the Werewolf Novel That Doesn't Suck that I've intended to start for a while.

I'm in! I've got a couple of outlines to choose from, but I think I might go with a YA fantasy novel I've been kicking around for a while now.

Good luck this year!
