So running a game while sick is a mistake. Rifts got off to a rocky start.

they met me as a large duck with a egg shell, and a goat on a tether... I ate the goat soon after...still as a large duck. we went to a town to see about some missling people, found some robots killing people, I breathed at them, the strange tall thing with two voices spit at it a lot too, the little thing that came out of a bigger thing got hurt, and died. I took one for a flight and let it hit the ground, then I came back and found a house with two men in it. I went in as a duck, one man had hurt the other man and tied him up, I helped the hurt man, and I got comfortable, that scared the bad man. He wanted to hurt the strange tall thing with two voices, I picked him up and shook him, then made him sleep.. we then flew to a city full of people, I cept the bad man in my mouth incase he wanted to be mean then I could snack on him. I also took his pants. We made the little person who was in the biger thing alive again, he was a human too. I gave him the pants. There was a dragon there I ran, he cought up, I ran again, he did it again, he offered to teach me stuff and not kill me. I'll have to figure out a way to elude him incase he changes his mind. Heh. See, it wasn't so bad. I think the problem was not your GMing, but the rule system, which seems to make instant vaporization an ever-present possibility, if not a likelihood. :) Plus, one should never get out of one's power armor.
