anyone know any good sites for computer deals? Anyone had a good or bad experience with any particular site? I know of several sites but I dont have as much experience with those sites as some and wanted to know if anyone had any recomendations.

I have had great success with Dell.. I have a laptop and desktop with them.... I have heard C.S. is a bit of a hassle but I've not had any troubles

My brother works for Dell so I am taking a good long look at them. I have minimal budget though so I am shopping around.

I tend to purchase most of my computer products from either www.newegg.com or www.zipzoomfly.com but then, I build my own stuff, too.

I second the newegg.com. My entire computer came from them, and I've not once had a problem with thier products, customer service, or delivery.

newegg, tiger, and Dell are all wonderful suggestions. If you are planning on buying a full system, Dell may be a better way to go. If you are on a tight budget, I suggest newegg.

It is also that time of year. If you keep your eyes on sunday ads you'll see some incredible deals. BestBuy had a $399 Lenovo laptop this week and I've seen desktops in the $250 range that were worth much more than that.

Meh, stay away from Dell and their proprietary crap. You're buying a desktop, and buying a comp that easily outstrips your original box will only cost you $200 or so for a "no-name" system. At least you'll be able to upgrade it w/out voiding the warranty.

I got burned on my HP from CompUSA. Litterally as HP has replaced it twice and now I have to send back again.

Jenova and bit the bullet and ordered a Gateway directly from the factory and financed it. It work perfectly.
