Saul seemed like a strong name with a sence of history. Mithrais was a derivation of a gods name. Alstrom sounded vaguely english to me for the caladyran flavor.

Josh Hough(ilmar) and Chris Pitt's(phil DuBois) and Mike Flynn(Griff) and some others were all folks I knew from vampire in Chattannooga. Josh wanted me to come join the Library to have someone who was more socially adept in the library do to the number of dust ups they had with tthe corneli. He was originally based of Molari from Bab5 and was supposed to be a retired swordsman whose glory days were behind him.

Saul once had a romance in Keldry that was the closest he came to happiness. It fell apart badly.

Saul never felt like a hero.
