So I am nervous. Eclipse while not my baby is the first time helping on the plot of a full contact larp and we will be running for a bunch of people I have played and had run games for me for years. I hope people will enjoy the game in general and my contributions to it. I wonder if any of my larp running buddies have any advise?

That set of nerves aside I am looking forward to some of the stuff we are doing. We have a plan and it covers the story archs for next several years. We are doing a scifi game and it is beginning to shape up having some very scifi elements to it. I love the majority of the character concepts we have recieved. I am trying to see how they will fit in to our storylines. I try to picture them in my head.

We are all also a incredibly eclectic mix of minds as far as the plot committee. We all bring something different to the table.

I now return to work eating my brain.

I can tell you what [profile] jenharts told me the day before the first KG event. What you're feeling, the nervousness, is also energy. You can use it. The hardest lesson for me was maintaining control without micromanaging. On that, I can offer no advice but to set limits and let things move. The game will always surprise you.

You're going to make some mistakes. Don't fret too much. Learn and move on. This sounds trite, but it's really important. You'll do some wonderful things too. You've got lots of talent. You've got good taste.

You can do this. It's going to be great. :D

I use to use nervousness when I acted on the stage in a similar manner. Thanks for the advise doll. I lookforward to when i am helping to run events for you for a change. ;)

up at the Redtop primitive camp site. The first one is an in character playtest. There is a stroyline and all, but we are also testing to see how the new rules work out.

Have faith. You will be brilliant. I'll be there to help you hit things or anything else you need. From working with you I have no doubt that this will have great depth and back story.

Dude, everything will work out fine. :-) You're gonna have some growing pains, but the rules are based on a well tested and well liked system. And you guys are a great collective of creativity.

Just remember, we're all just big kids playing Cowboys and Indian....

.....WITH PHASED PLASMA RIFLES AND STUN GRENADES!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
