I agree. The last episode kept talking about Peter and his unconditional love would save everyone, but I didn't see any reflection of that in the last moments.

Do think that Peter and Nathan are alive. Nathan could have easily let Peter go and flown off.

Actually

it was Peter's unconditional love for both Claire and his borther that kept her in NY willing to help him and Nathan willing to sacrifice himelf to save Peter.

Re: Actually

I liked the parallel(?) between the Future Hiro/Ando story and to Nathan realizing that family is more important than power.

Re: Actually

I thought the love thing was Nathan's love for peter - I think that Nathan really did think it was inevitable - not that new york die, but that peter splode. So yeah - I agree - the love thing saved new york really.

Re: Actually

That doesn't make sense to me because I've seen plenty of situations where someone loves someone else and the feeling isn't returned.

Just because Peter loved everyone unconditionally, doesn't mean that everyone would come save him. It would mean that he would sacrifice himself for everyone else, though.

The ending of the season was awkward to me. Hiro had a great cliffhanger to tie into the next season, and Parkman's gunshot wounds make people want to find out what happened as well.

Peter preferred to die than take everyone with him. he went there knowing there was a good chance he was going to die just to stop Syler. and that love was what brought his family to come help him in the end.

as to their deaths i wont believe it till I see a body and even then I might suspect otherwise. In the comics that the show emulates at times, no one dies forever.

I liked that ending but Hoshiadam predicted that back in Feb.

Personally I am curious who is the 'bad man' that Molly was talking about.

about the only thing I would say I was mildly disappointed by is the fight at the end. I wish peter had done better. It could have been one hell of a throwdown. But storywise it worked out very well. I am disappointed I will have to wait months to see a new episode.

At least it will probably show again before Galactica.

I realized that I don't have any shows to watch now except for the Stargates, I think.

Yeah - I wished for a big brawl - that was where I felt let down. To fast and brief. Though I loved hiro suprising sylar by not using his powers.

But he knew it was coming. As he had read Issac last comic. Plus he likely painted Issac's vision of Hiro also. He probably was prepared for the attack. Maybe he had a med kit hidden in the sewer.

Emphasis on "usually". Sylar's shown far tooo much stamina than he ought to. He must have eaten some interesting brain somewhere in there.

He's also nukkin' futs. I'm betting that the prions get to him at some point or another. The writers are too smart not to pick up on that tidbit.
