Okay I suppose I should say my leg has been irritated for a couple of days. It actually started Saturday night. I am not sure what I did but it became inflamed around that time. It has not gotten swollen though and the other signs of infection have not come up. It just has a sore redness above the initial scar. I have been wrapping the leg and keeping it up as much as I could. I also have avoided the gym for 3 days now. I hate skipping the gym no matter the cause. I just have less energy on the days I miss a work out. The redness is subsiding slowly and I think the leg is getting better. I just feel bad at loosing out on work out time. Oh well.

Resting the leg and giving it time to heal will give you more years to work out with it in the end. Bacterial infections rarely get better by themselves. Keep a close eye on it, and consider calling the doctor for a prophylactic course of antibiotics.

i will concider it. but as long as it is getting slowly better I will not call them. Now if it still an issue at the end of the weekend I may call them but i am trying to slip in as many hours at work as I can for some extra cash. I dont want to go to the doctor if I dont have to.

Could it be DVT? (Deep Vein Thrombosis)

I just wonder because Cyn had it and it sounds a lot like what you describe.

Anyway, just wondering.

sadly it has been checked out and found not to be that in the past. I get infections in that leg at the drop of the hat due to past damage. It sucks and keeps recuring.

A friend of mine has a lot of leg problems because of liver issues. I guess 'just' an infection is better, though I still wish you quick health.
