I'm also counting calories, following an old plan from working with a trainer years ago. I consumed about 1350 calories for 4 days, then 1750 on the fifth day, then back to 1350. It worked back then, but I was crazy too and worked out sometimes 2x per day. I dropped about 25 pounds in 3 months. Right now I'm consuming about 1500-1600 per day, maybe more on the days I work out and get really hungry. It ain't easy.

But I read something today that rang true: Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out credit card (i.e., get the bulk of your calories early in the day and spend the rest of it burning them off). Good luck!
