It has occured to me that people in this world often let the world slip past them. We get so tied in the little eddies of carreer or finances that everything else sort of flows past us. I wonder if there is actually even a way to take it all in to percieve our lives in totality or if we are meant to be this way. Are we supposed to miss things? Are we supposed to narrow our perceptions to singular focus?

Oh well it is my thought for today.

It's a matter of personal choice: to see or not to see. ;)
Sometimes it's also called "growing up", when you cease to notice things other than carreer etc.

Re:

Growing up means you become myopic? I hope not. that would be sad. Besides whats the use in growing up if you cant be a kid sometimes.

That's why I've resolved not to grow up till I die!
