The New Doctor is announced

it is a guy named Matt Smith. No, I have never seen him in anything. I find him disappointingly bland in most of the interviews I have seen and Patterson Joseph would have been wildly more interesting, but you never know I guess till you see them actually play the role. Look at him wave his hands! I love that tic, and while I somehow don't see the Doctor having quite that kind of nervous energy, I think that could contribute to a really interesting transition.
