Holy crap. Did they just have a good Heroes episode? Really? Are they reminding me why I liked this show in the first place?

I am baffled.

Interested, but baffled.

The interview with Bryan Fuller hinted that it starts good but slowly gets a bit weak again before he takes back over.

Well it was a good start. It was almost episode of a completely different show from the last season.

I'm confused about how Peter's abilities work. Again. This is not a good sign.

Oh that's easy. When he regained powers it changed to where he can only hold a single power at a time. I say Yay! He was so powerful before there was no good way to deal with him. An unkillable superman is kind of boring. A guy with limits is always more fun.

Yep. Looks like we can't bank on Peter keeping Sylar in check.

Remember though Peter lost his abilities and got them back. I think the writers did that possibly to make it more like Rouge otherwise he'd suddenly get everyone's powers in that plane.

ANDO to the rescue! Glad to see that Sylar might be the only chance against Nathan. Curious why Noah went back to being a bad guy, but I suspect he justifies this as just an extension of what the Company did.

I believe Noah went back to work in a deal with nathan to keep Claire out of confinement.

I felt that the storyline was getting a little too close to Genosha and the Sentinels, for starters. I had some serious questions that unfortunately detracted from the show.

Angela Petrelli has religiously talked on a cellphone for most of the series, but decides to use the home phone now? Besides, even crappy mothers know the sound of someone picking up the other line. Especially someone who was helping run a super-powered group trying to take over the world.

Claire was walking down a busy city street whispering to Peter on the phone?

Peter becoming Rogue royally pisses me off. He was the hero-side equalizer to Sylar, and has now been neutered to the point that I no longer have a desire for the character to live. I only allow whiny little brothers on my TV shows if they are actually badasses. Unfotunately now that Hiro's powers are gone it looks like Peter won't be able to save his lovely girlfriend from the timeline that no longer exists?

Hey, what's up "All is forgiven you evil monster of a man" Mohinder. I'm glad to know you're all smiles and less Emo now, but why aren't you in jail again? Bah, who cares, just fail to use your analytical mind right when your about to be captured.

It was just too much disbelief for me to work through in one day.

Yea, I had a few of those WTF moments too. (Did the writers forget about Peter's girlfriend?) But, I decided to wait and see how they're playing it out.

I really liked it too. Noah and Claire pissed me off though. LOL

Clair....will always a be a little disappointing. She is going to be disappointing till somehow she turns into a bad ass. That may be more than the actress can pull off. I don't know. Noah though was a return to form near as I can see.

My assumption regarding the current state of Peter's powers is that in regaining his abilities a reset button was pushed. Doesn't quite sit well with the physically touching of other people, but presumably Peter can regain all the powers that still have living recipients.

Barring that, he's gone down to one power at a time, as has been stated.

It seems like every new season they re-write the rules on how each person's power works (Mohinder no longer looks monstrous, Matt can draw the future, Sylar retained telekinesis even after the virus took all of his powers). The show's great, but the plot holes are starting to become gaping maws.
