So I got my eyes for checked this year. It turns out my prescription is getting better. Not sure how that works but I dropped from -2.0 in both eyes to -1.75 in both eyes. I also picked up a slight astigmatism. The optometrist thinks I am right in thinking I have been wearing contacts too much. I need to get some glasses so I ordered some today. I have not worn any in like 4 years so this should be interesting to get back in the swing of things.

And if you have eye problems (dry eye in particular -- it's one reason i'm holding off) it can have permanent side effects. It also tends to produce 20/40 as opposed to 20/20. I can't personally stand to have anything less than 20/20, myself.

Yeah, it is expensive. If I do it, I'll finance it; most places have payment plans and stuff.

My eyes got way too dry in contacts, and I started having tear duct infections, so I had to stop wearing the contacts.
