Hobbit feast was much fun. It was nice to just hang out and be a geek for a day. There was so much food!I think we had just the right number of people. Well there was one we could have skipped but everyone else was great. The food was good. The movies were great as well. Hey i am bored lets kick Gollum!

Sunday was fun with Adam running his Gestalt game. V and J sitting in on the game was neat and Reese had us all laughing as usual. Adam runs a good game and is always fun. Mage in the game is a bit odd to play as he is the utility character in many ways. He is to cautious to pull out all the stops in combat often when he does he can be deadly but for the most part he is a utility character and the characters like Lara's and reeses do ungodly combat stuff. Though Ryans new character is disgusting. I mean he is absurd in the level of damage he gets in close combat. This game though I came in to a fight where i kind of pulled the gloves off. nothing funnier than watching a demon run from you. It is sad we dont get to play the gestalt game more often but I know it is a lot of work for Adam so i do understand why we dont. But they are a lot of fun when we do.

I am running rifts this weekend and then it is Eberron again the weekend after that. This will be the actual session of playing rifts as the last Rifts session was making characters. I hope the actual game play rolls well for folks.

There has been talk of doing the linked game with V's World of darkness game. I think it could be a lot of fun and I want to do it. I will present to my gaming group. Would you guys be interested in another game run by me involving some horror elements and a post apokoliptic earth with vampires and demons?

The concept of the game sounds good, but I don't think I can handle a third game right now. Maybe as a replacement for one of the others later on, or something.

I was actually thinking a once a month game so it did not get overwhelming with all that was going. Would that make it more appealing?

We had 25 people spread between two apartments with an all day showing of all the extended Lord of the rings. While doing this we had an all day feast starting with breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, lunch, tea, dinner and supper. There was way to much food and drink. it was a hoot.
