As to debates and such. I think most of my friends know I love a good debate. The more I argue with someone the more I learn. Even if it is learning the point of view of those I oppose I will still learn something. I apreciate the occassional person who doesn't mind a good discussion.

I don't like to debate because most people don't actually know how to debate. All they know how to do is argue. Why waste my time and energy if the other person isn't going to take any of my points into consideration because they're too emotionally involved? I can think of better things to do with my time.

I love that about you. I think it's awesome that you can debate an issue without taking it personally. As someone who's had the opposing viewpoint in discussions with you, I really appreciate that ability.
