They did say it was a really good presentation and suggest I go an ask the learning director on my time and ask him for pointers but they thought the presentation was good.

Well, their reason sounds very believable, and if you weren't capable I'm sure they would have said, so now you're prepared for the next similar opportunity, or if you start looking at other jobs, you now have practice preparing and delivering a training course, so you can look into a wider range of jobs!
