For those interested in such I just finished writing chapter 6 of my novel and have started on chapter 7. It is tough going at times but I wrote almost 650 words tonight and over a thousand last night. I am getting back int he grove of it after taking a break. Organizing the book in yWriter 4 did help some to restart my brain and that is good. I am torn on trying to persue the traditional route of publishing once I am done and it is all editied and the like or going for the new model of podcasting the book. I may be putting the cart before the horse though. First finish the book and then figure it out.

I agree that the cart before the horse is never good, but it's not a horrible idea to think ahead and try to decide how exactly you want to publish it. I'm not sure -exactly- what you mean by the 'traditional route', like a dead tree version in general (a-la lulu) or trying to go through an actual publishing firm. Any which way you go, I still want to read it when it's done! :)

The traditional route is to shop it around first to agents and then they shop it around to publishing firms and maybe it sees print. Maybe it does not.

That's what I thought you meant Tech, I just wasn't 100%. Have you considered Lulu at all for a dead tree version?

They would be in the non traditional route. It is on the table. But first....Must finish book!!!
