Hmm. I went to the store today and bought bunch of healthier things to be eating. My goal for this week is no eating out all the rest of the week. Time to get that momentum back. As it is I am having a hard time getting to sleep do to lingering sick stuff. Nyquil now to try and get back on a normal sleep schedule.

I'm new here

Since I'm newly signed on to your journal, would you tell me a little about your nutritional goals here? Are you on a particular plan, or just tracking your calories?

Is this in line with a fitness plan as well?

I have a goal of less than 2500 a day. I am trying to loose a hundred pounds overall. There is some exercise goals as well though after being sick all last week I am having a hard time getting started up again.

How much did you weigh when you started, and when did you start? How's it going so far?

I started above 450. I am doing okay though I seem to have stalled out at this point. I am going to be working on that this week.

350: The Magic Number

Well go you! This is marvelous. That's an impressive drop already.

I started on my own path of losing weight in December 2006. I found that when I'd hit a plateau, just changing things up in fitness and nutrition seemed to break the deadlock. I think my body gets bored with things as well as my mind!

I recently had another in a continuing series of "Come to Jesus" chats with myself on the issue. Step 1 for me is always getting up early in the mornings to do yoga. It's something I really enjoy, among its health benefits. Finding some kind of movement that's fun is really important to me.

I'm cheering you on from afar! "If you're going through hell, keep going."

So what's the awesome thing you can do for yourself today? What can you accomplish toward this goal in the next 24 hours?

Re: 350: The Magic Number

today, my only goal is not eat out and stay on diet. I tend to not focus on daily goals. One day may not go well and i don't like to get discouraged. I tend to focus on the week by week. On other thing I am going to be working on this week as well is getting back in the gym.

Then right on! Sounds like you've got a good plan. Good luck with it!

Man, not eating out is the key of difficult for me too.
I spend most of my time out and about, so in order to not eat out I have to have made my lunch or go home, both of which are tough. In the morning I have to get m daughter up, dressed, teeth brushed, get her school stuff (books she's read scattered everywhere) in her backpack and get her out the door by 7ish AM.

I should really prepare it all at night, but WoW calls soooo loudly at night...

Could you make lunch before you go to bed at night? It helps me to have things already prepared in the refrigerator when I get up in the morning. If I don't, then I wind up eating in the cateen at work, and that's always a bad thing. Their food is *way* too good.

Eating out is doom. :)

Yay for healthy foods!
