If I am to gauge by my friends list I am the only person on the internet who still likes April Fools. That's a shame. I really enjoy a well crafted prank, scam, or humorous goof. I like April Fools in some ways not unlike how I like Halloween. Things today don't have to be real. Sure sometimes the joke goes to far but it is pretty much never done with the intention to harm anyone. It is purely a game.

But all of that said I understand many folks don't like it and they have their reasons. I just wish they could enjoy it the way i do.

I detest the feeling of not being able to trust my friends. I also hate feeling like I can't trust any of my normal sources of news.

However, I will enjoy going to ThinkGeek and Google today to see what they've done. It's the one bright spot.

I'll admit, I enjoy what some companies I follow do to celebrate the day (the new Witchalok class for 4th edition D&D!) but never anything my friends do. There have been bad experiences.

I will admit, there was one time that I believe Wildlands said they were switching over to the Shattered Isles (or maybe it was the Action Ball one?) system, which was HIGH-larious.

Are you kidding? I love April Fools day!

The world is too serious. It's nice to have a day when we don't take ourselves too seriously.

AMEN SISTA! I like to do one decent sized prank per year. Failure to be able to laugh at life is failure to live IMO.

I really hate it, especially at a time like this. There's enough ugly news out there. I don't need to have to evaluate whether my friends are lying to me or not. It's stressful enough out there.

That being said, I'm seeing a lot more April Fool's pranks today than usual, and they seem to be a lot more outrageous/over the top than usual. That's a little better. If it's utterly wild, then I don't have to worry as much about what day it is.

I'm afraid I'll have to call you out on this since you've spent half the day harassing Jeffrey for a prank he didn't pull. ;)

I enjoy it, I just can't ever think of any good jokes, nothing beyond, "We've decided to have 17 children."
